What color paint would go best with black leather furniture?
I have a couch and love seat that are black leather. My end tables and coffee table are made of glass. My throw pillows and accent rug are tan and black floral. I'd prefer not to use a neutral color, I'd like to do something fun, and bright. Any ideas? Thanks for all the respones! i was thinking about a redish or burnt orange color but wasn't sure about it. But since most said some form of red I feel reassured! =)

- Red.
- BLACK is a cool color so blues will go or in contrast a deep blood red
- how about cow print? cus leather is so friggin stupid and evil, you might as well have the whole animal
- Well I was going to say off white or creme but its not really fun. What colors are your throw pillos and accent rug then? maybe pick a color from them
- Paint your walls in soft red, and a red carpet.
- I was in someones house with black leather furniture and they used green. Not quite sage green, but a little more lively. I looked awesome!
- red. crimson red =]
- for a sober, inviting look - I suggest shades of yellow- lemon to mustard. The contrast will brighten the room and make it very cheerful
- Any color that's not white or too pastel, boring and bland. Go with a color that you like best. Maybe a rustic orange or brownish color.
- cream and red
- Hi, Oooooooo that sounds like fun! Any colour will work well for the walls since all the furniture are pretty neutral colours. I agree with everyone who said red. To make that room pop a nice bright red or burnt orange would be great! Good luck and it sounds like it will be a nice looking room by the time you are done.
- Paprika. But only as an accent wall. Reds can be overwhelming. Studies done on how color affects behavior, say red makes people angry and aggressive. The other walls should be tan to pick up the rug color.
